The ezDiscipline monitoring software provides a unique user configurable package to record disciplinary incidents and student details. The incident screen can also record whether parents or police were contacted, when and with detailed notes. The ezDiscipline software is easy to use and can be password protected.

Incidents

The software stores incident information including student involved, staff member, offence, action taken, location of incident, parent and police contacts if required. There is also a large text field to add as much free text as you require. When first created the incidents get a status of 'New', you can change the status at any stage and when the status is set to 'Complete' the incident is removed from the displayed list of incidents but can be redisplayed by selecting the show all checkbox and refreshing the screen.

Students

The software stores student information including name, address, phone, a photo and parent details. This information can be entered manually, imported or cut-&-paste from Excel. Each student record will also list all incident history of the student.

Staff

The application stores staff information including name, address, phone, a photo and encrypted password. All staff can have access to the system and if the staff code matches their windows logon id then can automatically bypass the logon screen when accessing the system. This information can be entered manually, imported or cut-&-paste from Excel.

Reporting

The software has a simple in built reporting system with a set of pre-built reports to get you started. You can also create your own reports and add them to those already supplied.

Letters/Email

User defined letters can be saved in the database and merged with the incident record for instant printing, also a new email function has been created to allow emails to be sent directly from within the application.

Calendar

The ezDiscipline application has been designed as multiuser and each staff member can keep a calendar of events, it also holds a "ToDo" list as well as a free format text field for each day.

Codes

The software is configurable by the user and that is done using this screen. There is an 'Options' list which will effect how the system looks and works. Field names can be changed and some fields can be made mandatory on the incidents screen. There are other code types all of which are configurable by the user. Discipline types may be unique to the school as well as the resultant 'Action' list that's why all the codes can be user defined. An example list is supplied but that can be replaced with your schools definitions.

Products - ezDiscipline Web

ezDiscipline Web - A web based interface to the ezDiscipline database using ASP pages. This application will duplicate certain ezDiscipline functions via a normal web browser. The application is under development and will complement ezDiscipline.
